Helipad by Frozen Cherry is located in Dubai Festival City.
Bringing together the best of two worlds – the Asian-style menu of BB Social Dining in DIFC and the lively ambience of Frozen Cherry in Beirut – is Helipad, and it has officially debuted at Dubai Festival City. The new concept is inspired by one of Beirut’s most iconic venues, Frozen Cherry, which boasts breathtaking sunset views above the clouds. And like Frozen Cherry, Helipad – its first establishment outside of Beirut – promises an unforgettable experience with international DJs, live music, and MediterrAsian food.
While Frozen Cherry is characterised by Lebanon’s scenic nature, Helipad has been designed to continue Frozen Cherry’s legacy in a cityscape, a new take on its meaning in an environment that embraces Dubai and what it has to offer. It comes as no surprise, then, that Helipad has aptly taken up residence on Dubai Festival City Mall’s helipad, translating to sunset views over the water.
Enveloped in a bohemian aesthetic, the new venue is adorned with low hanging and flowing lights, wooden tables, and wicker furniture surrounded by tall greenery. Guests can lounge on circular rattan beds and chairs to overlook the sunset with their feet in the sand, echoing the terrace of the original outpost. Across the venue, patrons can enjoy dinner with drinks while listening to the beats coming from the DJ booth. Bonus: Helipad’s kitchen is powered by one of Dubai’s most popular restaurants, BB Social Dining.
Awarded one of MENA’s 50 Best Restaurants in 2022, BB Social Dining was appointed to curate Helipad’s menu. An ode to Eastern cuisine, BB Social Dining is serving up its signature selection of bao buns, fresh sushi and ceviches, and hot barbecue dishes to name a few. We’re told that Helipad will host international DJs at sunset with live performances on a monthly basis, as well as themed nights to cater to all music lovers — think: pop music, house music, and more. Helipad is open daily from 4pm until 2am during the week, and until 3am on Fridays and Saturdays.
