From theme park thrills and cultural experiences to hotel packages and shopping rewards, here’s how to make the most of the long weekend on Yas Island.
Yas Island is pulling out all the stops this Eid Al Adha, with a packed lineup of experiences across its theme parks, hotels and mall.
The theme parks
Ferrari World Yas Island has more than 40 rides and experiences, including the world’s highest loop ride and a mega-coaster. Yas Waterworld has just expanded, adding Matamir’s Drop, the UAE’s tallest waterslide, bringing the total to more than 70 rides and attractions. Warner Bros. World takes guests through six themed lands featuring DC Super Heroes and Looney Tunes characters, while SeaWorld Abu Dhabi is marking Eid with a cultural twist, hosting traditional Fisherman dancers alongside henna, calligraphy and live craft demonstrations including Al-Sadu and basket weaving. Younger guests also get Eidiya giveaways and face painting.
For something different, CLYMB Abu Dhabi is home to the world’s biggest indoor skydiving chamber and the region’s tallest indoor climbing wall, with experiences available for all skill levels.
The hotel packages
Yas Plaza Hotels, which has six properties on the island, is offering families theme park tickets, daily breakfast, a choice of lunch or dinner, 25 per cent off dining and 20 per cent off spa treatments per night. Kids stay, dine and play free at both.
The Kids Go Free offer runs across the island until 31 October, with children aged 11 and under staying, eating and accessing theme parks at no extra cost when sharing a room with parents.
At Yas Mall
Spend AED 500 or more between 27 and 31 May and get access to the Eid House of Hospitality, where you can choose from an AI portrait sketch, a fragrance bar featuring regional scents, personalised Arabic calligraphy bookmarks and complimentary Eid gift wrapping. A three-day Super Sale runs from 29 to 31 May across fashion, beauty and lifestyle brands, and the Darna Rewards Unlock Luxury campaign is offering up to 10 per cent value back for cumulative spends of AED 5,000 or more across Yas Mall, The Galleria and Al Jimi Mall until 31 May.
