This culinary destination has created a new menu that mixes classic Parisian elements with a modern flair for presentation.
Whether you’re in Miami, New York, London, Rio de Janeiro or one of the ten international outposts of the opulent Bagatelle, there is an expectation for a celebration that incorporates “Joie de Vivre” with exceptional French-Mediterranean cuisine.
Bistrot Bagatelle at Fairmont Dubai has seen a return to form following a self-imposed pandemic slump brought on by the city’s continually changing health and safety restrictions. The new season brings a new menu from Head Chef Ricardo Goncalves that introduces six new dishes in addition to beloved Bagatelle favourites.

The sharing-style menu offers diners a range of dishes that reflect classic Parisian elements with a modern flair for presentation. A new interpretation of tartare de thon (tuna tartare) has given it a remarkable twist, serving the yellowfin tuna with avocado puree, jalapeno salsa and blood orange dressing. Another new starter and a dscvr personal favourite is La Tomate, a beef tomato stuffed with homemade fresh ricotta, heirloom cherry tomatoes, black olive granola, tomato consommé and basil vinaigrette.
New hot starters include crispy octopus à la grenobloise, with lemon and parsley puree, caper aioli and brown butter jus gras and Saint Jacques en croute, comprising Hokkaido scallops baked in the shell and encased in puff pastry alongside sea herbs and a startling seaweed velouté.

A refined version of a French classic has also made its way onto the Bagatelle menu. Canard à l’orange offers up tender duck breast, alongside chicory marmalade and Seville orange puree. Proving a delightful addition to the dessert offering, the profiteroles aux pommes are perfectly sweet with a fruity twist.
Bagatelle feels more akin to dining in a luxury Parisian apartment than the confines of a five-star hotel. The elegant environs with art nouveau details match the classic bistro cuisine and comforting service, making a trip to Bagatelle Dubai one to be savoured and relished.
