Acclaimed pastry chef, Angelo Musa is set to dazzle Dubai with his culinary masterpieces at The Gallery, located in the Dorchester Collection’s newest property, The Lana. This venture aims to elevate the dining experience to new heights of luxury and sophistication, offering a traditional British afternoon tea.
Nestled in The Lana’s lobby, The Gallery is where art and culinary finesse converge, and English traditions are embraced with flair. The setting features dramatic archways and high ceilings, creating a luxurious ambience with views of Marasi Bay Marina and gentle piano music in the background. True to its name, The Gallery displays a curated collection of artworks from acclaimed local and international artists, reflecting Dubai’s rich heritage and cultural diversity.
Morning visitors can enjoy a bountiful breakfast selection, including Granola with almond milk, fresh fruits, and honey; Bircher muesli; and a variety of freshly baked pastries. The à la carte menu offers an assortment of light bites, soups, sandwiches, and seasonal delicacies. Highlights include Steak frites with foie gras butter, Lobster bucatini with caviar cream, and Harissa marinated chicken paillard. The dining experience is enhanced by a vast tea menu and premium beverages.
As expected from The Dorchester Collection, The Lana also hosts a refined Afternoon Tea inspired by British traditions, with an extensive tea selection prepared by skilled tea sommeliers. Guests can enjoy a range of traditional finger sandwiches, scones with clotted cream and exclusive jams by Chef Musa, and a selection of pastries presented on elegant chinaware. The offering includes truffle egg sandwiches, slow-roasted wagyu beef sandwiches, ruby grapefruit and strawberry cheesecake and laminated coffee brioche.
Angelo Musa, celebrated as a World Pastry Champion and Best Craftsman of France, continues to innovate and set trends in pastry making, ensuring that his methods are beautifully executed at The Gallery.
The Gallery is open for all-day dining from 7am to midnight, with Afternoon Tea available from 1pm to 6pm by reservation. Prices start at AED 600 for traditional Afternoon Tea and AED 700 with a glass of Champagne.
