The rustic-meets-modern Hudson Tavern located in the trendy Hyde Hotel Dubai has launched a new Friday evening brunch inspired by Carrie Bradshaw, the character played by Sarah Jessica Parker in the hit television series ‘Sex & The City’ and ‘And Just Like That…’
Drawing inspiration from the imitable words uttered by the character in the 2018 Sex & The City movie: “I’d like a cheeseburger please, large fries, and a cosmopolitan!” guests will be handed a Cosmo on arrival and feel like they’ve stepped onto the streets of the Big Apple as they dine on New York classics in a sultry setting. Speciality signature cocktails, including ‘Carrie’s Cosmo’, ‘Mr Big,’ and a ‘Tartini’, will be completed with live entertainment.
The Brunch Like Bradshaw sharing-style menu includes Shrimp Cocktail, fresh Caesar Salad, Nashville Hot Chicken Sliders with a side of crispy fries and a variety of tasty tacos. A decadent Praline Cake will end the evening on a sweet high whilst master mixologist Tony Paul caters to all preferences with flavour notes ranging from sweet agave and cane sugar to bolder and bitter premium beverages.
Arrive in your finest New York fashion week inspired outfits because the best-dressed lady will win happy hour drinks for her and three girlfriends. The laidback venue will also be decorated with props inspired by the legendary series with nods to Carrie’s shopping habits and love of shoes. Even the waitresses will be dressed according to the theme in classic LBD’s paired with the right accessories.
Adding a touch of Americana to the F&B offerings at Hyde Hotel Dubai, Hudson Tavern joins Italian eatery Cleo and Japanese favourite Katsuya Dubai at the trendy Business Bay address.
Brunch Like Bradshaw is available every Friday from 7:30pm to 10:30pm. AED 295 (soft beverages) and AED 395 (house beverages).
