With brunch season back in full swing, you can now throw it back to the 1980s with the launch of a new retro-themed brunch at Tipsy Lion this weekend.
The 80s Project Brunch is a partnership between Love Parties Group and British pub Tipsy Lion. The brunch will feature old school tunes, live entertainment, classic pub games (including beer pong and foosball), and gourmet bites.
Brunch kicks off with hot and cold appetisers featuring chicken satay, mushroom ceviche, guacamole, and mini vegan sliders. They are followed by main courses comprising British pub classics such as fish and chips, truffle mac and cheese, and sticky beef with spicy potato mash. Of course, it wouldn’t be brunch without dessert, and the offering includes caramel cheesecake and churros.
Beverages on tap will include hops, grapes and signature cocktails with fun names like “Dancing in the Dark” and “Love in an Elevator.”
Guests can groove through the three-hour brunch with live entertainment from Jack Andrews, who will be performing all of your ’80s favourites. Adding to nostalgia, the pub games on offer include giant Jenga and Connect 4.
The 80s Project Brunch runs on Fridays, from 2pm to 5pm. AED 249 (soft beverages), AED 349 (house beverages) and AED 399 (premium beverages).
The fun doesn’t have to end when brunch does because there is also an after-party deal from 5pm to 9pm that includes five selected beverages for AED 150.
