In collaboration with Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, the Speed of Sound brunch will take place this Saturday.
CÉ LA VI is no stranger to the racing action at Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, repeatedly joining the hospitality and entertainment line-up at Luna Lounge over the years. And with the 2024 edition of this adrenaline-fueled spectacle only two months away, the swanky lounge and restaurant in Address Sky View Hotel will host its Speed of Sound brunch on Saturday, 12 October — and it’s designed especially with racing fans in mind.
Held in collaboration with Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, the brunch will take place from 12:30pm to 4pm at Level 54, and there’s four different options to choose from (but more on that later). Diners can expect to indulge in a five-course Michelin-approved meal paired with their favourite beverages while enjoying exciting activities, including a car racing simulator that will let them hit the track. We’re told that the Speed of Sound brunch will also feature the chance to win a money can’t buy experience: a Paddock Walk during the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix weekend that will take place from 5 to 8 December at Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi. There will also be a chance to win exclusive Red Bull F1 branded products while racing on the Red Bull Racing simulator onsite.
As for what’s on the menu? Themed courses aplenty. There’s the Abu Dhabi Burrata Salad that’s fresh and creamy to “start your meal on the right track” and Chicken Kushiyaki, grilled to perfection, “giving you the fuel you need”. You’ll also dig into the Yuki’s Platter, with 16 pieces of CÉ LA VI ‘s famously fresh sushi to race through. Come mains, there’s the aptly named Black Truffle ‘Sushi Rice’ Race-Sotto, Grand Prix Striploin, and Miso Black Cod that’s delicate and bold — just like your favourite F1 car, of course.
Even the sides have been curated to celebrate the longstanding partnership (think: Race Season-al Vegetables to add a flavourful twist to your culinary journey and Ferrari Fries to evoke the perfect race day snack). And when it’s time for dessert, brunch will be rounded off with the Sweet Grand Prix Finale that brings together Almond Rocher, caramel doughnuts, mango crème brûlée, pistachio and rose madeleine, and strawberry sorbet — a sweet victory to end the meal.
Brunch packages range from the set menu with soft beverages (AED 390) to the premium set menu with soft beverages, house beverages, Veuve Clicquot rosé bubbles (AED 790).
