Set along the shores of Saadiyat Island, Dar Chaouen is an exquisite space reimagined for the month of Ramadan as an intimate Moroccan-inspired retreat. With views of the Arabian Gulf, the restaurant provides a tranquil setting where you can enjoy both Iftar and Suhoor under the stars.
Take your pick from the à la carte menu at Dar Chaouen, which is inspired by the vibrant flavours of Morocco, with choices of warm khobz and a variety of mezze, alongside delicious salads such as zaalouk, taktouka, and chermoula. The dining experience continues with lamb harira or lentil soup, followed by a selection of signature tagines, from tender lamb and aromatic chicken to delicately spiced seafood, each slow cooked with rich flavour.
You’ll end the meal with traditional Moroccan sweets and mint tea. For private gatherings, an exclusive set menu has been specially created, offering a relaxed dining experience with a selection of signature starters, mains, and desserts.
If you’re looking for a traditional Ramadan experience, Oléa offers a generous Iftar buffet within its elegant indoor and al fresco settings. Featuring a rich selection of Arabian flavours alongside international favourites, the menu includes Turkish kebabs, Moroccan specialities, fresh seafood, homemade pasta, and aromatic curries, rounded off with charcoal-baked baklava and kunafa. With live cooking stations and an oud performance to create a calming atmosphere for family and friends to spend time together.
