Located in a charming villa on Jumeirah Beach Road, the restaurant welcomes guests into an environment that oozes character. Striking archways frame the space, warmed by the glow of the woodfire burning in the open kitchen. While exposed beams, wooden furniture and red velvet seats bring a sense of warmth and earthiness to the space.
A sensory journey from start to finish, 11 Woodfire invites diners to explore different textures, tastes, smells, and sounds while experiencing cooking techniques passed down through generations and drawn from the glowing embers of an open fire.
The cuisine at 11 Woodfire showcases various grill cooking techniques with an array of wood types, which help create and enhance flavours, matched with the freshest globally sourced ingredients and produce. An extensive selection of dishes including meat, vegetable, and seafood options, include Fremantle octopus served with beans and veal pancetta, or the Garden harvest, which is amber roasted and served with tomato garum. The menu also includes Loch Fyne Salmon, with pine and preserved lemon sauce and Barbeque leeks with yam puree and lacto fermented grapefruit. Finish your meal with an innovative dessert such as the Hibiscus lacto ferment or Parmesan 3 Ways – semifreddo, mousse and wafer.
“I am thrilled to be bringing such a unique dining concept to the region”, says Chef Akmal. “We wanted to create something completely unique with 11 Woodfire, where we focus on simplicity and flavour above all else.
