Have you ever eaten a Picasso before? Well, now you can, with the arrival of Seven Paintings, an immersive dining experience that combines food and theatrics at Shangri-La Dubai.
Explore the world of art without leaving the table with this new high-tech LED dining show that comes to Dubai in partnership with The Banquet of Hoshena.
The story of Seven Paintings is told by Leonardo Da Vinci and Mona Lisa, inviting guests to discover the works by the great masters of art, including Michelangelo, Jackson Pollock, Salvador Dalí and Vincent Van Gogh, through show-stopping visuals and artistic culinary delights presented upon the table.
The seven-course menu spans two hours of interactive dining. It includes courses inspired by Banksy (tuna carpaccio layered with truffle aioli and micro greens), Picasso (ceviche topped with an edible print of the “weeping woman”), and Andy Warhol (beef cheek topped with hazelnut pomme puree and served in an edible tomato soup can). The innovative menu has been constructed under the guidance of acclaimed food artist Omar Satwari and Shangri-La Dubai’s Executive Chef, Daniel Sheperd.
Seven Paintings follows hot on the heels of immersive dining concepts such as La Petit Chef and Sublimation. Seven Paintings is available at Shangri-La Dubai every Friday from 8pm to 10pm. AED 450 per person.
