The stylish South African restaurant can be found in The Galleria Al Maryah Island.
Restaurateur Natasha Sideris commands a devoted following in the UAE through her culinary ventures, notably Avli by tashas, Bungalo34, tashas café and the stylish South African restaurant, Flamingo Room by tashas.
While Flamingo Room has already made its mark in Dubai and Riyadh, the restaurant has now spread its wings to the capital. Situated within The Galleria Al Maryah Island, the restaurant embodies three distinct concepts housed under one roof. This includes the sophisticated dining experience at Flamingo Room by tashas, delicacies and desserts at African Lounge, and a retail space known as the Collective Africa. Within the store, customers can peruse a curated collection of clothing, homeware, jewellery, and fragrances sourced from across the world.
At Flamingo Room by tashas, the aim is to transport diners on an African odyssey. Mirroring the signature aesthetics of the brand, expect lush jungle-inspired interiors and blush-pink walls. The culinary team has crafted a menu featuring Calamari Mozambique, the indulgent Lobster Linguine, and the flavourful Mushroom Open Lasagne.
Next door is the sophisticated and chic champagne Perlage. Inside, rich shades of red adorn the round table and banquettes. The presence of plush velvet textures and artwork by renowned artists contributes a sense of opulence and luxury to the overall ambience. Drinks include the “Born to Be Wild,” a nod to the popular rock song, and “How ’bout Them Apples” which is inspired by the film Good Will Hunting.
