The St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort has joined forces with Kayali, inviting olfactory enthusiasts to indulge in exquisite tea and dainty treats at The Drawing Room, where a specially curated menu has masterfully drawn inspiration from Mona Kattan’s distinctive fragrances.
The brand continues to earn a loyal following worldwide thanks to its focus on layering of scents to help the wearer create their mood, collaborating with some of the world’s most renowned perfumers and sourcing the finest ingredients to create memorable and long-lasting concoctions. As for what diners can expect as a result of this one-of-a-kind collab?
A gastronomical affair featuring highlights such as Pink Pepper Blinis (inspired by Kayali’s delicate and floral Sweet Diamond Pink Pepper fragrance), Pistachio Paradise (reflecting the sweet, heady notes of Yum Pistachio Gelato), and the uniquely captivating notes of Lovefest Burning Cherry infused in the Cherry Bliss Brioche, which combines dark cherry and goat’s cheese.
A selection of elegant desserts is also imbued with the spirit of Kayali. A Vanilla Dream crème brûlée takes inspiration from the beloved Vanilla scene, while Invite Only Gateau (chocolate hazelnut crunchy cake) stirs up memories of Invite Only Amber, an indulgent, after-dark affair. The brand’s evocative scents also inspire the mocktail menu. While Sparkling Kiss – made with vanilla cordial, fresh pineapple and lychee soda – is intertwined with the bold and fruity notes of sparkling Lychee, Oudgasm Café Oud inspires the Frosted Cappuccino that blends the woody, intense aromas of oud with creamy coffee.
As part of the experience, guests are welcomed with a specially crafted mocktail, the Sparkling Kiss, as they engage in a sensory journey with Kayali’s fragrance trolley. The Afternoon Tea also features the highly exclusive Saffron Tea, ensuring a luxurious experience, much like you’d encounter elsewhere on the property.
