La Sirène brings a taste of Lebanon to Dubai.
The newly-opened La Sirène at Avani Palm View Dubai Hotel & Suites combines Beirut’s contemporary café culture with flavourful Mediterranean cuisine. The name’ Sirène,’ derived from the French word for ‘mermaid,’ draws inspiration from the sea through authentic Lebanese cuisine and warm hospitality, capturing the essence of Beirut’s coastal atmosphere with a forward-thinking approach.
Presenting a fresh take on classic dishes from the Levant region, where Lebanese street food is elegantly elevated with a particular focus on seafood. La Sirène’s menu offers a variety of mezze, breads, wraps, salads, fresh fish, seafood, meats, and traditional desserts such as baklava.

Signature dishes include the Lebanese Seabass Sayadiyah, a classic combination of roasted fish and flavourful Sayadiyah rice. For a delightful and light start, the Tiger Prawns and Avocado Salad is perfect, featuring Lebanese aromatic boiled prawns, avocado mash, and a drizzle of extra virgin lemon dressing. Indulge in the flavours of the Mediterranean with the Crisp Red Snapper, served with a ragout of potatoes, onions, artichokes, and green olives, accompanied by tomato and coriander mash.
With generous portions designed for sharing, guests are invited to embark on a journey through the culinary landscape of Lebanon. To complete the experience, we’d suggest having desserts and hubbly bubbly on the terrace while enjoying the views of Dubai’s skyline, including Ain Dubai, Burj Al Arab and Palm Jumeirah.

The restaurant’s music and entertainment aim to transport guests to the golden eras of the “Pearl of the Middle East.” The interior design complements this ethos by incorporating materials sourced from various regions of Lebanon to ensure authenticity and evoke a comforting sensation that makes guests feel right at home. Adorning the walls are vibrant and striking paintings by Michel Rouhana, one of Lebanon’s most renowned contemporary painters, who created seven pieces exclusively for La Sirène, infusing his signature style of incorporating natural phenomena like waves to convey spiritual and emotional depth.
