The LENTO & Friends Supper Club will kick off on Monday, 1 August.
Following the success of LENTO in Abu Dhabi – still home of the ultimate smashed burger – Faisal Naser recently brought his ethos of artisanal over commercial to Al Wasl Road in Dubai. Now, the Emirati chef and restaurateur is celebrating the debut of LENTO Dubai with a series of dinners in collaboration with other talented chefs.
Entitled LENTO & Friends Supper Club, it will kick off on 1 August as Naser invites fellow Emirati chef (and owner of Fae in Abu Dhabi) Khaled Alsaadi to cook alongside him for one night only. Both restaurateurs are well known in the region, dubbed as the new breed of Emirati chefs who are carving out a niche in the country’s gastronomic scene. Most recently, Naser and Alsaadi cooked at the Middle East & North Africa’s 50 Best Restaurants and participated in the Abu Dhabi Culinary Season.
Their upcoming collaboration will be themed around seafood, with each chef cooking three innovative dishes highlighting local produce for the six-course Sea Stories menu. Highlight dishes include Naser’s starter of Gulf White Clams (with corn and dashi) and Alsaadi’s dessert of Fish Fat Choux (with mandarin diplomat, ganache and olive oil). Guests can also look forward to an evening of hip-hop classics, with a DJ on the decks until late. The Sea Stories menu is priced AED 350 per person, with two sittings available at 7pm and 9:30pm.
