Debuting next month, The Slice will take up residence at Central Park Towers.
In a city where diversity reigns supreme, multi-concept venues are rapidly gaining popularity — The Guild and District 8 are recent examples, housing several eateries under a singular roof. Now, The Slice is set to follow, launching at Central Park Towers next month. It’s coming to life through the vision of hospitality entrepreneur Tom Muir, in collaboration with Mexican hospitality giant Grupo Anderson’s and restaurant operator Daniel Petermann of Zuma and Roka fame. We’re told that it will be the first DIFC destination to incorporate an exclusive 3,500-square-foot terrace in the shadow of Burj Khalifa, but what else is there? Read on.
Rowley’s
The historic London steakhouse established in St James’s 50 years ago (and still a culinary landmark in Mayfair) will bring its signature mono-dish experience to Dubai. The menu will feature a simple offering designed for steak lovers — steak, salad, fries, and cake, with a focus on delivering the very best cuts of meat, sourced over a six-month tasting journey to find the perfect quality. This outpost will be the first ever international restaurant in the 50-year history of Rowley’s.
Closer to home, Rowley’s at The Slice has created a luxury restaurant with the best quality food to be served continuously all day at an affordable price at a time when DIFC dining costs are at an all-time high. Guests will be served a C.200g steak with unlimited fries and salad for AED 150, with no reservations needed. It will serve lunch and dinner in the heart of the ‘new DIFC’, joining the likes of Sexy Fish, Chic Nonna, and Barry’s Bootcamp.
The Ledge
Offering striking views of Burj Khalifa and the city skyline, this 3,500-square-foot rooftop location in DIFC promises to be the perfect spot to enjoy sunset and sundowners. Just a few minutes’ walk from the area’s offices and residences, The Ledge will also be available for private hire, making it an ideal venue for both corporate and celebratory events.
Tap line
Hidden beneath The Ledge and accessed within Rowley’s, Tap line is a secret waiting to be discovered. The first cocktail bar of its kind in DIFC, it offers a selection of eight cocktails served straight from the tap. And with a master cocktail maker on hand, guests can soon enjoy expertly crafted classics like mojitos, palomas, and negronis served up with speed and precision.
