British rapper Stormzy has been announced as the headline act at the Emirates Dubai 7s, taking place at the Sevens Stadium in Dubai. The biggest-ever Dubai 7s to date will wrap up just ahead of the UAE National Day holiday, taking place from Friday 29 November to Sunday 1 December.
The British rapper and singer-songwriter will take over the Frequency on 8 stage to perform his iconic hits such as ‘Big for your Boots’, ‘Shut Up’ and ‘Vossi Bop’, exclusively for ticket holders at The Sevens Stadium, Dubai.
Stormzy is a multi-award-winning musician from South London, England. He gained widespread recognition with his 2015 track “Shut Up,” which showcased his talent blending grime and hip-hop. He has since released several critically acclaimed albums, including “Gang Signs & Prayer” and “Heavy Is the Head,” both of which highlight his versatility and social commentary. Beyond music, he’s an advocate for social justice, using his platform to address issues such as racism and inequality. With numerous awards to his name, Stormzy continues to influence the music scene and inspire a new generation of artists.
Additionally, on day two of festival, Saturday 30 November, fans will also have the unique opportunity to catch Stormzy off-stage, as he switches up his microphone for his padel racket to compete against his friends in a mini tournament. Guests are invited to watch Stormzy, and his crew battle it out on the court.
