Rainforest camping is now a thing in Dubai.
Craving a camping adventure but can’t handle the heat? Longing for an authentic rainforest experience without the hassle of long-distance travel? Your wishes have been granted with the return of ‘Camping in the Rainforest’ at The Green Planet.
Available every Friday and Saturday from 2 June to 29 September, The Green Planet invites visitors to embark on this one-of-a-kind nocturnal experience. As part of their commitment to nature conservation and educating guests about our planet’s wonders, Dubai’s indoor rainforest offers overnight stays amidst the biodome’s 3,000 exotic plants and animals.
The adventure begins at 7pm, immersing guests in the heart of the tropical biodome with comfortable tents for a restful night’s sleep, accompanied by the unique sounds of the rainforest. Before bed, indulge in a delicious feast, watch wildlife documentaries, participate in storytelling sessions, and toast marshmallows around a cosy campfire.
The rainforest’s knowledgeable staff will entertain explorers of all ages with games, family-friendly activities, and enchanting night tours that showcase the nocturnal animals in their full splendour. The following morning, a nourishing breakfast awaits at The Green Planet Café, accompanied by an interactive animal feeding session and an immersive behind-the-scenes tour of the biodome.
Each night, this experience can accommodate up to 25 people, with regular and large tents available. The regular tents comfortably house two campers, with prices starting at AED 750 for two adults. For larger groups, the spacious large tents accommodate four campers and can be booked for AED 1,450. Junior campers can join the adventure for AED 200 per child, while additional guests can join for AED 300.
