Palm Jumeirah’s first sports and entertainment arena will debut soon

Palm Arena by Myami

The Palm Arena by Myami will run from 14 June to 14 July at Palm West Beach.

Because summer equals sporting action, a new venue is gearing up to launch just in time, bringing with it daily screenings as well as food, family-friendly activations, themed nights, weekend roasts, live music and more. Running for one month, The Palm Arena by Myami will debut on 14 June and take up residence at Palm West Beach, making it the first sports and entertainment arena on Palm Jumeirah.

Formed in partnership with dedicated online dining platform MoreCravings by Marriott Bonvoy, the fully licensed venue is designed for sports fans looking to catch live screenings of major sporting events – Euro 2024, golf, race car driving, cricket, rugby, and horse racing for starters – broadcasted on multiple large screens. A lively, immersive atmosphere is expected as they gather to cheer on their favourites, spurred on by special activations such as face artists, drummers, and live duo performances. Elsewhere, DJs Dane Bowers and Alex Simmons will be on hand to cover game breaks with a splash of commentary and chart-topping hits, while bands and other live entertainment rotate throughout the weeks.

Sporting action aside, The Palm Arena also promises a vibrant entertainment schedule, ensuring there’s something on the roster every day. Quiz Nights hosted by hosts Dane Bowers and Sibbers will kick off on 27 June, as will the innovative Rokake, inviting guests to sing on stage alongside a live band. The Big Rugby Weekend Breakfast is all about early morning rugby games served with a side of special breakfast offerings, making The Palm Arena your home for the Summer Internationals 2024. Happy Hour, meanwhile, will be a daily affair, taking place from 4pm to 7pm and bringing with it unbeatable deals on drinks and snacks.

For a heartier meal, diners can choose from the likes of Taco Tuesdays, Curry Thursdays, and Brisket and Bun Fridays — or simply settle in for an old-fashioned roast over the weekend. The Palm Arena will welcome families from 4pm to 7pm, offering a friendly and safe environment for all ages before transitioning to an adult-friendly venue from 7pm onwards. The seating options here span Platinum, Gold, and Silver categories as well as private booths (both standard and premium), but walk-ins are always welcome. Just note that a minimum spend on food and beverages may be applicable for certain games, unless you’re at the bar or a standing table. The Palm Arena will remain in place until 19 July.
