Launched by the team behind Hawkerboi and The Guild, the rooftop pizzeria has taken up residence at The Park in JLT.
If the instant success of Hawkerboi, The Guild, and Splendour Fields is any indication, it’s that homegrown hospitality company EATX is officially headed for global domination — but first, adding a pizzeria to the mix. Meet Franky’s, a vibrant new eatery that has debuted on the roof of The Park in JLT and serves contemporary Neapolitan style pizza and antipasti.
Diners can expect to be greeted by foliage, art from all areas of Italy, views of the neighbourhood, and an already bustling atmosphere. We’re told that both the Franky’s Signature Straciatella Service and Franky’s Famous Family Meatballs are must-try starters. While the classic margarita caters to pizza traditionalists, adventurous foodies can opt for the Black Truffle and Mushroom or the Mussel and Prawn pizza — and all of them are cooked in a wood-fired oven.
Leave room for dessert with Italian classics such as Tiramisu and Cannoli di Vagnlia, or go for dessert with a boozy twist by way of the Sgroppino Al Limone that’s assembled tableside. Also launching soon is Franky’s Aperitivo Hour, a daily happy hour that will take place from 5pm to 7pm and serve 2-for-1 cocktails with complimentary snacks.
Franky’s Pizzeria can accommodate up to 95 covers, so you can take a seat at the bar counter for a casual experience or dine inside the restaurant, depending on your mood. “I’m excited to have Franky’s open, and with it The Park is complete,” says Tom Arnel, EATX MD and Founder. “I can see Franky’s being a great place to meet up with mates over a spritz, beer and some delicious pizza. Fun for all the family or on a date.”
