Sunset Hospitality Group will debut Bâoli in September 2024.
Stars – both celestial and Hollywood – are common sightings at Bâoli Cannes, where top DJs and premium dining make it a staple in the resort town’s nightlife scene. Now, marking the brand’s first extension into the Middle East, Sunset Hospitality Group (SHG) is set to open Bâoli Dubai at J1 Beach, formerly La Mer, in September.
Relaxing by day and playful by night, the concept will offer a dynamic dining experience to visitors at J1 Beach, combining an elevated culinary experience with an energetic night scene. Bâoli was born in the harbour of Cannes and quickly established itself among the top culinary and nightlife destinations across Europe. Inspired by the spirit of Southeast Asia and the elegance of the South of France, Bâoli opened its doors in Miami in 2008 and has since become a destination for celebrities and jet setters alike.
The waterfront Dubai outpost is set to become an emblematic venue, with its amplified culinary offering and eclectic night scene. By day, guests can enjoy lounging under the sun, but the Bâoli journey will really begin as the sun goes down. Guests can gather their friends for sunset drinks while socialising between Bâoli’s multiple bar areas to be refreshed by their signature cocktails created by the city’s top mixologists.
For lunch and dinner, Executive Chef Omar Basiony has artfully crafted a menu of coastal French and Mediterranean flavours and ingredients, expertly accented with East Asian techniques. Nodding to Bâoli’s roots in the south of France, the dishes are designed to be shareable, light and fun. We’re told that Bâoli Dubai’s layout boasts a diversity of spots to suit every need, beginning at the VIP lounge or chic VIP bar. There’s also an intimate indoor setting in a tropical lush style of interiors filled with rich textures and patterns, as well as an outdoor petal terrace amongst the luscious foliage and tropical textures, with the crashing of waves only adding to the overall ambience.
As the night progresses, the transportive beats will go up and Bâoli’s atmosphere will be ignited thanks to innovative cocktails, late-night bites, and endless hours of entertainment such as resident and guest DJs, live acts and more. For those guests wanting to take their nightlife experience to the next level awaits a secret speakeasy in which to groove the night away, courtesy of a curated mix of house, retro vocals, afro house, and indie music.
