Cakes, cookies and blended coffees from the homegrown patisserie will be available at The Atrium for three months.
Home-grown artisanal bakery Mélange is constantly filling our Instagram feed with tempting pictures of extravagant cakes, gooey cookies and delightful tarts.
Following hot on the heels of a collaboration with Bloomingdales in The Dubai Mall, Mélange has taken over The Atrium of ME Dubai – the only hotel to be fully designed both inside and out by the late Dame Zaha Hadid – for a three-month pop-up.
The Mélange pop-up will feature a selection of whimsical creations, including handcrafted pastries and signature coffee blends. Highlights include Chocolate Salted Caramel, Black Forest and Coconut cakes, alongside Mélange’s Insta-famous Caramel Tart and Dark Chocolate Cookie.
The partnership also features sweet treats created especially for the hotel by Founder and CEO, Nadia Parekh. Taking inspiration from the design and interiors of the hotel, the bespoke creations include a Hazelnut Mokha Cake, Savoury Swedish Bun and the London Fog Latte made with homemade Elderflower Marshmallow.
Featured alongside the pop-up is a showcase of Zaha Hadid’s legacy to the hotel by Zaha Hadid Architects and Zaha Hadid Design. Spanning several areas of the hotel, the showcase includes a collection of Zaha Hadid Design (ZHD) objects, along with an activewear collaboration designed by ZHD x ODLO and a selection of architectural models of Zaha Hadid Architects’ most iconic works.
A guide will take guests through the exhibition before they relax over an afternoon of luxurious desserts by Mélange.
If you don’t know Mélange, it’s about time you get to know!
