Salt at the Museum

The limited-time collaboration is now available at the Museum of the Future.

Homegrown burger brand Salt has teamed up with acclaimed Chef Akmal Anuar for a limited-time pop-up. Aptly named Salt at the Museum, this avant-garde concept redefines the Salt experience, offering a collaborative platform within the architectural marvel that is distinctly “Dubai.” With the launch of Salt at the Museum, a fusion of culinary innovation has taken over one of Dubai’s most significant cultural landmarks.

Within the prestigious confines of the Museum of the Future, Salt at the Museum serves as a catalyst for culinary exploration, transforming into a dynamic epicentre where the region’s culinary luminaries converge to craft exclusive gastronomic delights for Salt’s renowned menu. This endeavour celebrates creativity and diversity, presenting a curated selection of rotating chef specials.

Salt at the Musuem

The first to participate is acclaimed Singaporean-born chef Akmal Anuar. With a rich tapestry of culinary expertise garnered over two decades, Chef Akmal is a stalwart in Dubai’s culinary realm, having spearheaded some of the city’s most revered dining establishments including 3Fils, 11Woodfire and Goldfish Sushi & Yakatori. Inspired by his hawker heritage and global culinary adventures, Chef Akmal presents a menu that pays homage to Salt’s roots while infusing the dishes with a whimsical flair befitting its iconic setting.

Speaking on the collaboration, Chef Akmal Anuar expressed his excitement, stating, “This is such an incredible new concept, taking two iconic Dubai names and creating something new, and I’m delighted to be a part of it. The objective for my menu items was to exceed expectations and honor the roots of Salt, but to add a playful and elevated twist to suit the location. This will be an entirely new concept for Salt, and the dishes need to feel fresh and inventive. I have created something aligned with the Museum of the Future and showcase what brings out the best in me and Salt.’”
