Partner Content: Origami will donate all profits from the sale of its contemporary Japanese fine chocolate boxes for three months.

Fans of Japanese fusion cuisine should need no introduction to Origami, a restaurant that has been masterfully merging Japanese flavours in Dubai for over eight years.

The acclaimed sushi spot has become the talk of the town in recent years and is now looking to give back to the local community with the launch of a new fundraising initiative. The campaign, which runs until 28 November 2022, will see all proceeds from the sale of handmade chocolates donated to charitable initiatives.

Origami’s boxes of contemporary Japanese fine chocolates are handcrafted in-house. They include four unique flavour combinations: matcha chocolate with caramel, white chocolate with yuzu mint, salted hazelnut praline with melted milk chocolate and cocoa butter, and 60% dark chocolate and 40% milk chocolate dipped in cocoa powder.

The boxes pay homage to the legacy of the highly sought-after cacao delicacies found in ancient Japan and are priced at AED 155 for 12 pieces.

With Origami’s recent relaunch and the opening of a brand-new store inside The Dubai Mall, the handmade chocolates have been purposefully designed to showcase the meticulous execution for which the Origami brand is renowned.

All proceeds from the sales of Origami’s handcrafted chocolates will be donated to Dubai Cares, which works towards providing children in developing countries with access to quality education through impactful, sustainable and scalable programs. The UAE-based global philanthropic organisation has successfully launched education programs reaching over 21 million beneficiaries in 60 developing countries.

“Seeing gigantic support for our brand relaunch this spring, our team is now ready to give back,” said Origami’s Executive Chef Dave Mangiliman.

Origami’s contemporary Japanese fine chocolates are available at The Dubai Mall and Sharjah location of Origami.

This has been approved by the Islamic Affairs & Charitable Activities Department under IACAD permit number PRHCE-000123496.
