From January 25 to January 28, Khalifa Park invites fans of all ages to revel in the excitement of the 3-on-3 tournament, NBA Fit Clinics and an array of interactive fan activities.
The collaboration between the National Basketball Association (NBA) and ADQ, an Abu Dhabi-based investment and holding company, is set to reach new heights as the ADQ Community Carnival unfolds at Khalifa Park. This four-day extravaganza, from Thursday, January 25 to Sunday, January 28, promises family-friendly entertainment and learning opportunities.
The star of the show is NBA 3X Abu Dhabi, a 3-on-3 basketball tournament featuring 24 men’s and 12 women’s teams in the 18+ division, alongside an open division for players aged 18 years and under. Registration is now open, offering participants the chance to showcase their skills, receive NBA 3X jerseys and compete for championship trophies and prizes.

But the excitement doesn’t stop there. The event boasts an array of free interactive basketball activities for fans, including shooting competitions, skills challenges and live DJ performances. The Dunk Squad and appearances by an NBA team mascot will add a touch of spectacle, while daily NBA Fit clinics will promote a healthy and active lifestyle for all attendees.
The ADQ Community Carnival builds upon the ongoing collaboration between the NBA and ADQ, solidifying ADQ as the Presenting Partner of The NBA Abu Dhabi Games. This partnership extends beyond entertainment, supporting the NBA’s grassroots basketball programmes in the UAE as part of its collaboration with the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi.
