Signor Sassi, renowned as one of London’s premier Italian dining establishments, is now accepting reservations ahead of its debut in Dubai. The restaurant will open within St. Regis Gardens – on the rooftop of Nakheel Mall – in Palm Jumeirah.
A collaboration between Sunset Hospitality Group and San Carlo Restaurants, Signor Sassi Dubai promises authentic Italian hospitality and a menu of culinary delights. The meticulous layout and design of the venue create an inviting ambience, echoing the hallmark elegance and comfort associated with the brand’s locations in London and Riyadh. Boasting two bars—one within the indoor restaurant and another on the covered terrace, which will showcase a specially designed fountain—alongside an Italian team dedicated to delivering genuine Italian flavours, Signor Sassi Dubai is expected to be one of the most anticipated venue openings of 2023.
The interior aesthetics of Signor Sassi Dubai draw inspiration from the opulent villas adorning the shores of Italy’s Lake Como. The setting boasts an array of coloured marbles and finely polished timbers, reminiscent of the luxurious yachts that grace the lake’s waters. The furniture selection, taking cues from Italian designers such as Gio Ponti, infuses the space with a playfully sophisticated twist.
Notable menu highlights include the Lobster “alla Catalana” with Tomatoes and Onions, the Avocado Bernardo Salad with Prawns and Lobster, Veal Milanese with Potato Sticks, Grilled Jumbo Prawns with Fennel, Orange, and Mullet Roe, Tagliolini with Caviar and Lemon Sauce, and the Risotto “Signor Sassi” featuring Porcini Mushrooms and Truffle. Among the cherished classics of Signor Sassi are the Famous Spaghetti Lobster, Seared Veal Escalope, Braised Beef Short Ribs, and an enticing selection of artisanal pizzas, including the Pizza with Burrata, Rocket, and Truffle.
Enhancing the culinary spectacle, Signor Sassi presents an array of both classic and specially crafted cocktails. Among these libations is the signature Negroni, adorned with a traditional orange peel.
